Healthy 2-Ingredients Apple Pie
I don't know about you but, as far as I'm concerned dessert (or actually anything on the sweeter side) is the best part of a meal. This is why I couldn't wait to share a sweet recipe !
With that being said, we all know it : sugar is not the best for our health. Does it mean that we should avoid desserts at all costs ? Absolutely not ! Here you have a great recipe that feels like a warming treat but is completely guilt free. The perfect healthy little dessert !
This apple pie (which is more an apple tart but, anyway...) is super easy, requires just a few ingredients, all natural (of course !). Let me be more precise... In fact you only need 2 ingredients ! It is full of deliciousness, satifies your sweettooth and is super healthy as it contains only fruit. What ? Only fruit ? Yes, that's it ! Its simplicity is precisely what makes it incredible. It's harder to resist to it than to make it ! A few natural, high quality ingredients and a pinch of love, that's the recipe for a fabulous apple pie !

Healthy 2-Ingredients Apple Pie
Ingredients :
- 6 Big Apples (obvioulsy)
- Puff pastry
- Optionals : cinnamon, apricot jam, sugar (or any other sweetner), lemon juice
Directions :
Peal all of your apples. If you want to prevent them from going brown, you can put them in a big bowl with water and some lemon juice. Roughly chop 3 apples and put them in a pan under low heat. You can add some sugar in the pan if you find your apples not sweet enough. Cook them for around 15 to 20 min, until the appples break appart into a puree. Personally I like to keep some chuncks but you can cook it for longer if you like them complitely smooth.
Slice the other apples in croissant shapes. Now spread the puff pastry dough in a baking dish. Pour into it the puree and then arrange the sliced apples above. You can sprinkle some cinnamon on top for added deliciousness. To make tart shine you can brush some apricot jam on top of the apples.
Bake your tart in the oven at 180°C or 350°F for around 30 minutes or until the puff pastry base is cooked. Enjoy it hot, it's evenn better !
To obtain a very cooked based you can precook it, by it self for a few minutes in the oven; in that case don't forget to put some weight in the dish other wise it may fluff up.
To prevent your apples from buring you can coer your tart with foil or simply put your tart at the very bottom of the oven .
Serve your tart with some vanilla ice cream or whipped cream to add a little indulgence
